Install the ReplyCraft keyboard on Android
About 3 minutes
-
Install ReplyCraft from the Play Store
Download ReplyCraft from the Google Play Store. Open the app once and complete onboarding.
-
Open Settings → System → Languages & input
On most Android phones the keyboard setting is under Settings → System → Languages & input. On Samsung devices it may be under Settings → General management → Keyboard list and default.
-
Tap On-screen keyboard → Manage keyboards
Find the On-screen keyboard (sometimes called Virtual keyboard) option and tap Manage keyboards.
-
Enable ReplyCraft
Toggle ReplyCraft on. Android will warn you that the input method can collect text you type — this is a standard warning for all keyboards. Tap OK.
-
Set ReplyCraft as your active keyboard
Go back to the keyboard list and tap the Current keyboard shortcut (or the small keyboard icon in the notification shade while typing) and choose ReplyCraft.
-
Try it in any chat app
Open any chat app and start typing. Tap the ReplyCraft key to generate a reply in the current context.
Troubleshooting
- The keyboard does not appear in the list. Restart your phone after installing — some Android skins (MIUI, One UI) cache the keyboard list and need a reboot before new IMEs show up.
- Replies are blank. Check your internet connection. The keyboard needs network access to call the ReplyCraft AI service.
- The ReplyCraft key is missing. You may be on an older Android version. ReplyCraft supports Android 9 and newer.
