Install the ReplyCraft keyboard on iOS
About 3 minutes
-
Install ReplyCraft from the App Store
Download ReplyCraft from the App Store. Open the app once and complete the one-time onboarding so your preferences are stored.
-
Open Settings → General → Keyboard
Launch the Settings app on your iPhone, scroll down to General, and tap Keyboard. This is where iOS manages all keyboards, including third-party ones.
-
Tap Keyboards → Add New Keyboard
Tap Keyboards at the top of the Keyboard screen, then tap Add New Keyboard. Scroll down past the system languages to the THIRD-PARTY KEYBOARDS section.
-
Select ReplyCraft
Tap ReplyCraft in the list. It will now appear as one of your installed keyboards.
-
Enable Full Access
Tap ReplyCraft in your keyboard list and toggle Allow Full Access on. This is required so the keyboard can talk to the ReplyCraft AI service. Your conversations stay on your device — only the reply request is sent when you actively tap the ReplyCraft key.
-
Switch to ReplyCraft in any chat app
Open any chat app — WhatsApp, iMessage, Instagram — tap the globe icon on your keyboard and select ReplyCraft. You are ready to generate replies.
What if the Allow Full Access toggle is greyed out?
This usually means Screen Time restrictions are blocking changes. Open Settings → Screen Time → Content & Privacy Restrictions and temporarily turn it off, then retry. Remember to turn restrictions back on after you are done.
How to switch keyboards quickly
Long-press the globe icon on any keyboard to see a list of all your installed keyboards. Pick ReplyCraft from the list — it stays selected for that app until you switch again.
